MICROBLADING

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure to enhance the look of your brows. This technique done to give the brow a natural hair like effect by adding pigment to the top layers of the dermis (skin) that last up to 1 - 2 years depending on the condition of the skin and proper aftercare.

Before ! (Please read, this is very important)

The DON’Ts before arriving or scheduling a microblading appointment

  • DO NOT consume any ibuprofen, alcohol, coffee, energy drinks or any caffeinated beverages 24hrs prior.

  • ANY treatments such as laser, peels, botox, etc. should done 2 weeks prior.

  • All retinoids, vitamin c, glycolic serums.. typically all serums should cease use for at lease 2 weeks prior.

  • You must be free of sunburns as well as blemishes.

  • If on any blood thinners, going through chemotherapy, or diabetic, please consult with your physician.


After !

Please Read to insure the best possible healing and outcome of your beautiful new brows.

Dry healing is highly recommended so No Swimming, No submerging your face in water, No heavy workouts.. No anything that involves your brows to be wet, this also includes steamy showers/baths (keep it brief), saunas, tanning and heavy sun exposure for 7-14 days.

  • DO NOT touch your brows, don’t get them wet or put any oils, creams, lotions or ointments on the brow area for the first 48hrs.

  • After 48hrs apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor 2 times if you have any shading. (Ombré/Combo)

  • Avoid laser treatments, chemical peels and any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic Acid in the face and neck.

  • Itching and flaking/scabbing is common during the healing process, DO NOT pick, peel or scratch, this will cause loss of pigment.

  • Protect your brows from direct sun exposer. Wearing a hat, visor, or simply staying out of sun light will protect the healing process and prevent skin damage and lifting of the pigment.

  • When washing your face use washcloth or cotton pad and cleanse around your brows.

  • No makeup on or around the brow area for at lease 10 days.

  • For oily skin, use product free blotting papers by gently dabbing directly on and around brow area as often as needed. If you have dry skin or feel your skin tightening, use provided ointment 2 times at day.

What to Expect ..

  • Day 1 - Slight discomfort and minimal redness.

  • Day 2-4 - Bold brows.. Brows will appear to be a lot darker because your skin has created a light protective layer. This can last up a week.

  • Day 5-10 - Scabbing, flaking or peeling. ( DO NOT pick! Any removal of scabbing will result in loss of pigment.) The healed layer/top layer of skin will cause pigment to appear lighter.

  • Day 10-30 - Complete healing takes about 4 to 6 weeks. Very minimal makeup may be gently applied to your brows. Your skin will regenenate its self and in this process true pigment will be revealed. Now it’s time to schedule your 2nd session.

  • Brows will look complete after the 2nd appointment.

The DO NOTS !

  • DO NOT cleanse with harsh soaps.

  • DO NOT pick or scratch.

  • DO NOT apply makeup on or around the tattooed area, can affect the healing process.

  • DO NOT use Vaseline, Neosporin, or any petroleum based products during healing process.

  • DO NOT wax, thread, or use any hair removing products on treated area during healing process

  • DO NOT use anti-aging or anti-acne products during healing process. No Retin-A, Lactic, Glycolic Acids, AHA’s, Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic Acid, Hydroquinone (bleaching/lightening creams), etc.

  • DO NOT tint, dye or bleach tattooed area for a month after procedure.

  • DO NOT expose your face to direct sunlight, hot tubs, swimming pools, saunas or steam rooms.

  • DO NOT submerge your face underwater, bathtub or shower.

  • DO NOT exercise or do heavy workouts that cause excessive sweating for 10 days. Can cause blurring of the pigment.
